Early Signs of possible DYSLEXIA

[ ] Weak reader Parent or Grandparent

[ ] Slower in learning to talk

[ ] Lasting errors in pronunciation

[ ] Slower to master Nursery Rhymes

[ ] Slower to master the Alphabet

[ ] Slower to master somewhat complex skills requiring automaticity, like Zipping up a coat, or Tying shoelaces.

 

If your child shows several or more of these signs when starting school, make sure they get explicit, multi-sensory phonics instruction.
